I put this under "Infants and Children" because my beautiful, 14-year-old Old Man tabby IS my baby. Even though he's almost as old as I am by four years. Move it, mods, and face wrath.
 I wuvvles my kitty and this was one of the settings on my camera that  found.  you. My kitties ears look like that because about 2, 3 years ago he developed a Hematoma in his left year which was filling his ear with the ruptured bloodcells. It's generally brought on by either ear mites or fleas, which cause the cat to scratch it's head furiously or shaking their head, causing the vessels to pop. Shortly after the first, it developed in his second ear. There is no turning it back after the ears have "cauliflowered". The vet COULD have done the less expensive procedure but told me that though she could do it, she wouldn't.The bitch could have put him under, drained his ears and then taped them flat on his head. He wouldn't have enjoyed it but DAMNIT there was an over 50% chance it'd have worked and because I KNEW about it, she wouldn't do it! >_<! ... That frustration aside, I my cat.
